During my time in Colombia with Give Power, I had the incredible opportunity to help bring electricity to a remote school. We worked tirelessly, digging trenches for copper wiring, installing six solar panels, wiring the system, and mixing concrete for the panel base. These panels powered six lights, two refrigerators, and two blenders—small additions that made a huge impact. On the final night, we turned the power on in front of the entire school, and the reaction was unforgettable. Many had never seen electricity before, and their excitement and joy made all the hard work worth it. It was a moment I’ll never forget.
